SLIMICIDE FOR PAPER INDUSTRY

Slimicide is used as an antimicrobial agent to kill slime-producing microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and algae in the papermaking process. In the pulp stage, where a lot of water is re-circulated and employed, prolific growth of microorganisms makes slime imminent. Slime is responsible for adversely affecting paper machine runnability, clogging pipelines, hindering thermal transfer etc. Slimicide is used both as a preservative for mill additives as well as an active anti-microbial to control growth in the process water.
